The Paring has an extraordinary pedigree. The Paring was born in 2006 out of a desire to explore, experiment and excite—without rules. Made from the vineyard blocks that are either too young or don't fit into the vintage style of the highly acclaimed JONATA and The Hilt wines—The Paring is a cut of each estate. The Paring puts pedigree first, and then lets imagination take over. The grapes are sourced primarily from three Santa Barbara regions on the vanguard: Santa Ynez Valley, Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley.

A Wine For All Occasions
The Paring Red and Paring Sauvignon Blanc wines explore different blending opportunities where experimentations with site and varieties are key; select vineyards are defined and farmed to our rigorous standards, wine lots are blended and aged together to reach balance and enjoyment.
The Paring Pinot Noir, Rosé of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah wines explore different styles and vineyards: from the precise and complex Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley to the deliciously rich and versatile Syrah from Santa Ynez Valley.
The Paring wines are for pleasure and meant to be at home anywhere, pairing beautifully with casual BBQs as well as feasts that pull out all the stops. They make every effort to strike a balance between volume, and texture, both direct results of the beautiful Santa Barbara sun and cool oceanic winds.

The Paring Red Blend

This Cabernet-inspired blend displays classic notes of cassis, tobacco and chocolate. Focused fruit and shapely tannins shine as hallmarks of what we've come to expect from the sandy soils and slightly cooler climate of our outstanding vineyard sites.

Offering immediate drinking pleasure without sacrificing the complexity and nuance that makes this grape so compelling. A wine brimming with seductive fruit alluring aromas and supple tannins. The consummate overachiever.
