What was once a goal of simply making the best wine possible evolved into something more important. Patricia Green Cellars still strives to make great wines but within the context of these principles:

Finding and working with the largest collection of historic Oregon vineyard sites ever assembled under one winery roof. Since 2012 the winery has made a distinct point of cataloging, by making wine from, sites that have relevance to the Oregon story of Pinot Noir. In 2021 thirty-six individual Pinot Noirs were bottled due to the diversified array of top-quality vineyards held by the winery.
WINES
Patricia Green Helen Dusschee Rose

Vinification & Winemaking: The fruit was 100% whole bunch pressed and settled for 2-3 days before being racked into a variety of different fermentation vessels including a puncheon, a stainless-steel tank, a sandstone amphora and a couple of concrete tanks. These were all inoculated and fermentation proceeded slowly through the end of our late harvest and into the beginning of winter. As fermentations finished in December all the wines were racked into a large stainless tank in preparation for fining and filtration. This wine goes through almost no malolactic fermentation so it is sterile filtered.

Patricia Green Sauvignon Blanc

The vineyard’s original planting dates back to 1984, making it the second oldest established vineyard in what is now the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Plantings of entire blocks have happened in 1986, 1987, 1990, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001 and 2010. The site includes 25.5 acres of Pinot Noir (20 acres of Pommard, 3 acres of Dijon 114, 3.1 acres of Wadensvil and 1.4 acres of Coury Clone), 2.5 acres of Sauvignon Blanc and 2 acres of Chardonnay (Dijon 76 and 96). Patricia Green Cellars purchased the property in July, 2000. About 20 acres were planted at that point, including Pinot Gris, which was mercifully grafted over to Pinot Noir in 2002. The vineyard houses the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines in the Willamette Valley. It has also produced the only Pinot Noir to receive a score of 100 from a major, national wine publication.

00 wine Chardonnay Chehalem Mountain

This is a savory, mineral-driven Chardonnay that has the structure and flesh to give plenty more with bottle time. 54 cases were made.”

00 Wine Freya Hermann Cuvée

a homage to 00 Wines founder Chris Hermann’s mother, Freya … This thrilling Chardonnay slowly unwinds to release a stunning array of aromas that emerge beautifully from this glass, led by ripe white peach, asian pear, lemon oil, toasted hazelnut, flint and crushed stones, which are impossible to resist. The palate is simply striking, beautifully balanced, precise and focused, with layers of delicious fresh orchard fruit flavors that are framed by gorgeous minerality resonating throughout. This is an utterly captivating bottle of Chardonnay that is nothing short of mesmerizing today, but should also continue to evolve beautifully over the course of the next decade.

Patricia Green Reserve Pinot Noir

Though labeled reserve, this is actually the entry-level wine into the expansive Patricia Green portfolio. It's tight, spicy and herbal, with a touch more roughness than the elegance displayed across most of the 2017s. But at this price, it's a fine introduction to the detail and style of wines throughout this exemplary winery.
